DAY TRIP TO BENDIGO
SUNDAY 23RD AUGUSTS 2009
We met at Calder Park Raceway and headed up the Calder Highway to Bendigo.
Once arriving in Bendigo our first stop was to visit Doug Clarkson's Workshop.
Doug is visually impaired and restores cars and does a lot of machining work.
He gave us a tour of his shop and told us about some of the tools he has made to
assist him in his projects, as well as showing us a veteran car he was fixing for a customer.
After an hour or so at Doug's we then headed to the Bendigo Car Clubs rooms for
lunch and to have a look at some of the fantastic vehicles.
