October 25, 2019(1 event) Studebaker Concours Weekend 2019 This year’s Concours is only 2 months away and planning for the event is coming together nicely. In this issue of Stude News, you will find a registration form for the weekend. We ask that if you are planning to attend any of the events over the weekend, that you fill in the form and return it, so numbers can be confirmed. This form doesn’t need to be filled in if you are only attending the Concours, but we do ask that if you are planning to enter a vehicle for judging on the day, that you fill in the form. Registrations will be accepted on the day, but pre-registering your vehicle will help speed up judging process on the day. Most of the cabins at the Riverglen Holiday Park have been booked. We have been advised that they have a handful of cabins left, and that these are available to the general public, so they are sure to be taken up quickly. If you are planning to stay the weekend and haven’t yet booked, we highly suggest you book now to avoid missing out. Details for the Riverglen Holiday Park and the Discovery Park next door are below: Riverglen Holiday Park: Alternative accommodation if Riverglen is booked out: Discovery Parks Geelong: WEEKEND ITINERARY FRIDAY 25th: SATURDAY 26th: Bus trip will be leaving mid-morning for those interested. First stop will be the Geelong Mill Market. The Mill Market is full of antiques, collectables and other vintage items. Following the market lunch will be at the beautiful Jack Rabbit Winery. Trophy Presentation Dinner at Buckley’s Entertainment Centre. A shuttle bus will be available on the night for pick up and drop off from the Riverglen Holiday Park. SUNDAY 27th: Mid-morning visit to the recently opened Geelong Museum of Motoring and Industry. $10.00 entry. Lunch at the Bannockburn Railway Hotel Registration forms need to be returned by Monday the 21st of October at the latest, so final numbers can be confirmed. Hope to see you all in Geelong.
