    March 20, 2019 March 22, 2019

    Day 1- Wednesday 20th March
    9.45am we meet at the BP outbound just before Rockbank on the Western Highway at 9.45am. (1929 Western Fwy, Rockbank Victoria 3335.)  Leaving here at 10.30am sharp.
    From here we continue on, stopping at Beaufort for lunch arriving at 12pm.
    We will then arrive in Ararat to our accommodation. * (Check in is from 1pm)
    If time permits, we can take a look at the Alexandra Gardens Park.
    As arranged, we will make a visit to Club Member; Gerald Hurkens’ property at approx. 4.00pm
    Dinner at 6.30pm at the RSL

    Day 2- Thursday 21st March
    9.30am we start with a pleasant 45-minute drive to Halls Gap, where we will have morning tea and ice-creams!
    While here, there is the chance to wander around, then we will go to Boroka Lookout (20min drive- very short walk to lookout), to take in the views, before making our way back to Stawell.
    At Stawell, we will have lunch, and then visit a Pickers Market. Leaving Stawell by 2.30pm.
    From here, we travel down the road to Seppelt Cellar Door Winery for a tour of the underground cellars (easy walking) and wine tasting at 3pm. $10 pp. * Time permitting, Best’s Winery is also not too far away! Arrive back to Ararat. Dinner at 6.30pm. RSL

    Day 3- Friday 22nd March
    Check out of accommodation.
    10am -Tour of the J ward Asylum, in Ararat. $15-$17pp. *
    Then find a bite to eat and have lunch before we begin our trip home to Melbourne.

    *Adelle will require numbers for bookings of the Seppelt Winery tour and the J Ward Asylum.  Please advise no later than 1 week prior to the trip. ?

    Just a reminder that we have a fabulous lunch planned at the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron this Sunday at 12pm.

    Firstly join us at Antique Motorcycles – 1 Grange Rd, Cheltenham (right opposite to the entrance to Moorabbin Airport) at 10.00am for a coffee and to view the stunning collection and then on to

    Beaumaris for lunch.

    Kicking off at 12pm there is a 3 course meal for lunch at $30 per person and you can pay on the day.

    Heading out of town, the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron is situated at 485 Beach Rd Beaumaris, a couple of kms past Ricketts Point with entry just past the Cromer Rd intersection.

    Plenty of parking but for catering purposes please make sure you let Marie know you are coming.
