The town of Rhyll, on Phillip Island, is running a Wooden Boat Festival over the weekend of 2nd - 4th March. This is one of the many 2018 events celebrating 150 years of the 1st land sales on the Island. There will be wooden boats, classic cars, model boat displays and much more. Further info is on the website; rhyllwoodenboats.weebly.com
We have been invited to display our cars on the Sunday but you are welcome to display your car on Saturday as well. Please let Marie or Guido know if you’re going to display your car, so we can secure a space for you.
If anyone wants to make a weekend of it, there are plenty of accommodation choices on the Island. Ring Marie, Guido or Leon (0400 209 110) if you have any questions.

Our biggest yearly fundraiser is on again thanks to Bunnings Moorabbin. Bunnings have again provided us with the opportunity to raise funds, show off our one and only Studebakers to the general public, (you never know who may see them and desire one, or more), and have been a great supporter of our Concours.
A prominent front car park, facing Warrigal Road, should provide us with plenty of room and great exposure. Food and cold drinks are available via the sausage sizzle, Bunnings do have tea/coffee at their café area, maybe bring a chair along.
The past sizzles have proven very successful, great benefit to the club and well attended by members. As the event does take a bit of organising, it would be appreciated if you could advise of your attendance and if you are able to assist in relieving the cooks, money handlers, etc., probably for an hour or so during the day.
